DIY 3D Floral Frame

Summer is right around the corner and I decided to do a little “wall-lift” in our bedroom decor.  If you follow my DIY posts, I made a DIY Wall Art tutorial in March that I decided to repurpose into something more vibrant to suit this upcoming season.

Materials Needed:

  • Shadowbox Frames
  • Glue gun
  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Scissors
  • Fake flowers

1)  Start out by cutting out a vase design of your own.  You might have to alter the shape of your vase depending on the size of your frame.  I made a different shaped vase for each frame.

2)  Line up the vase behind the letters in the glass.  See my DIY Wall Art Tutorial  for instructions on how to level your letters.

3) Cut off the flowers from your stem and begin to arrange them onto your frame.  Use your glue gun to carefully set each piece on top of the glass.

4)   Take a step back and evaluate your creation!  Make sure that you fill in any voids and secure any loose petals to the glass.  DSC_4019-web size DSC_4027-web size DSC_4031-web size

Summer in a frame is truly breathtaking. To have our own seasonal wall art without the expenses of an interior decorator is too good to be true. Thank you:)
