Summer is right around the corner and I decided to do a little “wall-lift” in our bedroom decor. If you follow my DIY posts, I made a DIY Wall Art tutorial in March that I decided to repurpose into something more vibrant to suit this upcoming season.
- Shadowbox Frames
- Glue gun
- Scrapbook Paper
- Fake flowers
1) Start out by cutting out a vase design of your own. You might have to alter the shape of your vase depending on the size of your frame. I made a different shaped vase for each frame.
2) Line up the vase behind the letters in the glass. See my DIY Wall Art Tutorial for instructions on how to level your letters.
3) Cut off the flowers from your stem and begin to arrange them onto your frame. Use your glue gun to carefully set each piece on top of the glass.
4) Take a step back and evaluate your creation! Make sure that you fill in any voids and secure any loose petals to the glass.
That’s it!! This is a very simple way to spruce up your wall decor just in time for those summer months! If you enjoy these types of tutorials let me know and stay tuned for more DIY posts!
